### Anyone Can Make Markets About Anything

On Melee creators can ask any type of question (fact or opinion) and users can speculate on it using a novel pricing mechanic that rewards them for being early and right. This design eliminates the need for centralized gatekeepers and shifts the value to the user.<br>

### Traders Make More Money

Unlike most prediction markets, on Melee outcomes are priced along a bonding curve, allowing speculators to make money by being both early and right. In the bonding curve based price structure, the earlier you get into a market, the better your price.

This mechanic makes Melee's markets function similarly to a token where your potential winnings grow as more people buy after you. The result is a return mechanism never seen in prediction markets, giving early speculators massive potential wins (100x+).&#x20;

On Melee all positions are final, eliminating the risk of rugs or bag holders. Your winnings are fully determined by your ability to predict the outcome.&#x20;

#### There are three ways to win:

* **Be Early** &#x20;
  * By selecting “Melee All”, you buy into all outcomes in the market. Because outcomes are priced on a bonding curve, if the market grows to a large enough size, you can make money no matter what outcome occurs (ex. If you are up +2x on two conflicting positions, you will make back the losses of one position with the profit of the other).
* **Be Right**
  * As real probabilities change, buy outcomes that have a mispricing between the real odds and the odds on Melee
* **Be Early & Right**&#x20;
  * If you have conviction in an outcome, buy it early without hedging. Being early to a single outcome yields the highest returns, but also comes with the most risk.

### Creators Monetize Their Audience

Melee is a creator focused platform, allowing influencers engage with their audience and make money from the volume they generate. Alternative to tokens, creators receive a sustainable revenue stream that is not risky to their reputation.
